Thermagraphic Imaging

Thermal imaging uses a camera to measure the animal's body surface temperatures. The medically calibrated camera and software converts the temperatures into images that help evaluate physiology. Thermal images use colors to represent the body’s surface temperatures of the animal.

This provides a map of the animal and allows us to see what we cannot see or feel.

Thermal imaging for animals helps pinpoint where problems are and assist to know where to look further.

Animal clients cannot talk, taking these non invasive images allow the animals body to speak for them.

Many animals have thermal abnormalities before an owner or clinician notice a change.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of a cure!

Things To Know And Do Before imaging Animal

Animals being imaged

needs to be out of direct sunlight for

60 Minutes or longer.

Blankets, polo wraps, boots etc...

 need to be off for

60 minutes before.

It is better to have

your horse brushed off as best as possible

preferably 60 minute or longer before.

Horse needs to be dry

as possible and

no topical medications and no pain relieving gels.

If you want an accurate image

no chiro, bodywork, acupunture,

e stims, lasers, ultrasound

or anything done to them 24 hrs before.

After imaging do whatever you want!

Location needs to be out of direct sunlight and no shiny objects

or reflective surfaces.

No hot items or

beverages in camera sight.

To help make the process go faster, if you are to practice with your horse squaring up and working with them with me being under and around them. I can get even more accurate and better images!

It isn't a necessary thing to do but it certainly does help make better pictures.
